Update as of Thursday, June 1st...
According to the producer of Loving Annabelle, Katherine Brooks
and Erin Kelly have had schedule changes that prevent them from coming to
Hartford for our closing night festivities. I mean really Katherine,
what does India have that Hartford doesn't? :)
There is still a
possibility that Diane Gaidry will be able to come, so we will keep you
posted through our website.
Original Press Release follows:

When: Saturday, June 10 @ 7:30pm
Where: Cinestudio at Trinity College in Hartford, CT

The Connecticut Gay & Lesbian Film Festival is proud to announce that director Katherine Brooks and lead actors Diane Gaidry and Erin Kelly of the Indie Film Favorite
Loving Annabelle will be in attendance at the closing night of the CT Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
Director Katherine Brooks is well known to viewers from her extensive work on reality television including such popular hits as
The Osbournes, Newlyweds - Nick and Jessica, The Simple
Life, and The Real World. Katherine is currently writing her next feature, The Curse on 1170 Royal Street, a true story about a haunted house in her hometown of New Orleans, LA. Diane Gaidry is a veteran of dozens of film, television, and commercial productions. In 1993 she co-founded Filmmakers Alliance in Los Angeles, where she is currently the Executive Director and oversees Programming and Distribution. Loving Annabelle is Erin Kelly’s first feature film. The film won the audience award at the Melbourne Queer Film Festival in March.
In the tradition of the lesbian cult classic Mädchen in Uniform comes a steamy new boarding-school romance. The newest student at this prestigious all-girls’ Catholic academy is Annabelle (Erin Kelly), the rebellious daughter of a too-busy senator. Underneath her bad-girl persona, Annabelle hungers for love, and it doesn’t take long for her to crush out on everyone’s favorite English teacher, Simone (Diane Gaidry). The chemistry between student and teacher is undeniable and electric, but lurking underneath is the fear of breaking the ultimate taboo; after all, Annabelle is 17 and Simone is 35. Don’t miss this daring feature that deftly explores the complexity of love and the struggle of two women who have every reason not to feel the way do…emotionally astute and undeniably erotic.
