First Thursdays Cinema
You no longer have to wait until the Film Festival in June to enjoy exceptional LGBT movies. Out Film CT presents First Thursdays Cinema on the first Thursday of each month. We'll show a mix of newer films and classics, and we'll even throw in some of the most popular flicks from recent festivals that you may have missed or want to watch again.
So head over to Cinestudio to see a terrific LGBT film at 7:30 pm each first Thursday of the month. See the calendar below for the specific films as they're announced.
Out Film Presents
Dec 8, 2012 - 7:30 pm
The Perks of Being a Wallflower
The film presents a bullied gay freshman (Logan Lerman) who creates his own tribe of outsiders to help him survive until graduation. Emma Watson (of Hermione Granger fame) is awesome as an American girl trying to live down her bad reputation without forsaking her edgy allure.
Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7:30pm at Cinestudio on the campus of Trinity College.
Silent Film Event
Dec 9, 2012 - 2:30 pm
A unique afternoon of entertainment showing the rare 1919 silent film, Different From the Others, with live musical accompaniment by Lesbian musician and composer Yael Acher "Kat" Modiano. Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2:30 p.m. at Cinestudio on the campus of Trinity College.
